Help! I’m leaving on a three week vacation and have absolutely nothing to read. Hard to conceive of but true. So here’s a fun way for me to get recs and a lucky winner to get a free book!

I totally heart books; how about you?

Here’s the deal:

You: leave the name and author of a great book you recently read. When I say great, I mean just that – I want something that wowed you; made you think about the characters long after it was over; made you wish that you knew the author so you could storm over to her home and then beg her to write a sequel.

Me: I’ll take your recs and get great reads for my trip *plus* I’ll gift one lucky reader a free e-copy of any book recommended (your choice!).

So start recommending away! Winner will be picked Tuesday around 9 pm.

  1. Like No Other by Una LaMarche, I was able to read this early through Penguin First Reads program and it’s pretty amazing. It’s a forbidden love story between a girl who’s a Hasidic jew and a boy who is not.

  2. You have to read Best Kind of Broken by Chelsea Fine. Seriously Judith it was soo freaking amazing! It’s a beautiful story of two friends trying to reconnect after a tragedy.. And it’s Sooo funny!!! Chelsea Fine is an amazing author! You have to read it! It’s one of my all time favorites! Love it sooooo freaking much!

  3. Not really after the prize (I’m from the other side of the world, SE Asia). But I like Nancy Collins’ Vamps and Lucienne Diver’s Vamped. Recently I got Cynthia Leticia Smith’s Blessed. Teen vampire reads are fun. I also have this list as a guide.

  4. Thank you so much for having this! Hope you have an awesome vacation! Here are some books that I adore: Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
    Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
Open Road Summer by Emery Lord
    Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
