Release Day: Exclusive Excerpt of Rebecca Grace Allen’s His Contract

HearHis Contract that? That’s the very loud, very excited sound of cheering for today’s release of Rebecca Grace Allen’s super sexy BDSM book, His Contract! Woohoo! Confetti throw! It’s here! Yessss. And what could make today even better? Well, Rebecca has given Binge on Books an exclusive excerpt for the release and it’s hotter than hot (And by that I mean it’s INCENDIARY so watch out)!

Now, if you don’t know anything about His Contract a) where have you been?! b) let’s change that stat! Here’s the blurb (and honestly, get ready to fan yourself by the end):

Lawyers know when to play by the rules…and when to break them. Harvard law professor Jack Archer once balanced his professional life with the private world of dominance, surrender, and trust he shared with his wife. Since cancer stole her a year ago, finding love again—her final wish for him—is the furthest thing from his mind. From his empty house to the classroom, grief follows his every move.Until he meets a young woman with shadows in her eyes even darker than his own.

Once a shining star at law school, Lilly Sterling’s dreams died when the Dom she trusted left her heartbroken and lost. She’s starting fresh in a new city as a paralegal, but meeting Jack reawakens all her old demons—and her lingering desires. Jack offers to become Lilly’s mentor for both the courtroom and the playroom, but tells himself it’s not a relationship. Their carefully worded contract guarantees that. But when their trial agreement starts heating up, both Jack and Lilly must decide what will tip the scales: the letter of the law…or love?

Warning: All rise for a book that contains a wounded submissive and a Dominant who wants to retrain her while retaining control of his heart. Discovery phase may involve spankings, bondage, edging, and blindfolds. Is it hot?

You be the judge.

And here it is, an exclusive excerpt to whet your appetite before you delve head first into His Contract. Enjoy! Read More

Good thing I convinced him to share it with the world cause HOLY–

Now on to the fun stuff! Below you’ll find a hilarious Top Ten with Priscilla and a teaser of the sneak peek to her new book, Emancipating Andie, we’ll be releasing in its entirety January 9th.

Top Ten with Priscilla Glenn

Full disclosure: I totally cheat when it comes to “favorite” surveys. Instead of choosing favorites, I give lists. You’ve been warned.

Favorite movie: Dirty Dancing, A Bronx Tale, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, The Karate Kid (the original!), My Cousin Vinny, The Princess Bride

Favorite song: Colorblind by Counting Crows, This Year’s Love by David Gray (I taught myself how to play both on the piano!), Hold You In My Arms by Ray LaMontagne, These Are The Days by Van Morrison, Arizona by Kings of Leon, Last Request by Paolo Nutini, Killing Me Softly by The Fugees, Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits

A place I’d love to visit: Italy, Greece (especially Santorini), Hawaii

Item you can’t live without: My cell phone. I know it’s irrational, but if I ever happen to forget it at home, or if it runs out of battery in a place where I can’t charge it, I have a moment of sheer panic. It’s quite ridiculous.

Person you would like to meet: If I were being fantastical, I would say Maya Angelou. If I were being realistic, I would say Katja Millay, author of The Sea of Tranquility. She stepped up and took me under her wing when I first published Back to You, and we’ve been trading emails, texts, and phone calls ever since. We often lament the fact that we can’t just hop in the car and meet up for coffee. Or alcohol, depending on the day ;)

Favorite hobby: If I say reading and writing, is that cheating? It truly does take up most of the free time I have when I’m not teaching or taking care of my family. I love, love, love getting manicures and pedicures. Does that qualify as a hobby? 😉 I also love teaching myself songs on the piano, although it’s been a while since I’ve learned anything new.

Guilty pleasure: Robert Pattinson. I know, I know. My husband never misses an opportunity to tell me I’m not thirteen years old, to which I always respond that I don’t have a crush on him for being Edward. I like that he’s humble and self-deprecating and funny. And also, he’s sex on legs.

Favorite book/author: anything by Emily Giffin, Stephenie Meyer, JR Ward, Tammara Webber, Victoria Dahl, Jennifer Crusie, Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, SC Stephens

Favorite color: blue

Collect anything? Do toys count? My kids are five, three, and ten months. My family room often looks like an episode of hoarders.

EXCLUSIVE TEASER for Priscilla Glenn’s next book, Emancipating Andie. The full 3 page sneak peek will be released on January 9th! Check back for the full thing but for now, content yourself with this:

He lunged at her and she screeched in protest, attempting to get out of the car, but he grabbed her hand before she could reach the handle.

Andie sucked in a breath and froze.

It was like a static shock, only not unpleasant, a fuzzy electric tingling that shot up
