NA Review: Carry the Ocean by Heidi Cullinan + Giveaway!

Carry the OceanCarry the Ocean by Heidi Cullinan

Published by: Samhain Publishing

Format: Kindle ARC

Genre: NA M/M Romance

Reviewed by: Judith

Score: 10/10

Did you see the score I gave this one? Did you? DID YOU?! 10/10. 10 whopping stars. That’s not something I hand out willy nilly to all the books that grace this blog. No, this book is special. It’s ridiculously special. Don’t get me wrong: it’s the funny, sexy, intelligent, fast paced, and lovely book we expect from Heidi Cullinan. But above all – and what sets it apart from everything – is how wholly unique it is to the genre. Read the plot, give it a chance; give me 50 pages and if you hate it, forget it. But if you trust my reviews, then do yourself a favor and one-click this book. It is oh so worth it.

Be prepared to squee: Jennifer L Armentrout has a new series coming out…

People, this is serious. Ellen is going to flip! Like for real.  Thank god she’s out of communique until Monday or she’d be texting like a fiend and my weekend would be ruined.

So Jennifer L Armentrout just announced via twitter that she is writing a new series (for adults so Ellen is off the hook and doesn’t have to review) about–can you guess? can you? hmmm?–that’s right! Angels.  She had this to say to me though when I mentioned it via Twitter:  It’s an adult series under @AuthorJLynn and yes its about angels… sort of. Not what you think thou…

That gives me hope that we’re going to read it and like it.  And let’s face it: this is the author of Obsidian and Half Blood (ooh maybe a review is in order there) so we’re sure not to be disappointed.  The photo I’m attaching above is a sneak peek from her twitter account and gives us nothing beyond the whole “angels are involved in the plot” thing. Oh and the fact that it’s titled Unchained, Nephilim Rising Book 1.

Be sure to follow @authorjlynn and @jenniferlarmentrout on twitter to get all her news or check back here often or on our twitter feed @iloveyafiction since we’re obsessed fan girls already!
